Grandma Wednesday

On Friday's I am a chauffeur.   I drive to school and pick up my grandkids.   We hug the teacher's goodbye and yell out the window, "see you on Monday!"  We stop at the park to play and treat ourselves to some ice cream from the ice-cream truck.   I love Friday!

What I didn't know on this pickup day is that we would not be returning to school for the rest of the year. Jobs would end, weddings would postpone; stores, restaurants, and beaches would close, sporting events would stop. Coronavirus has changed our world!

I remain in prayer, and I am finding great strength in how excited and grateful I will be to return to my ordinary life again.  We are in this together, keep walking, call a friend, eat well, sleep well, hug your babies, and your mate.   Continue to pray and meditate and stay positive!

Until we meet again, I am sending love and prayers of comfort and peace to all.
